The Palace of Emperor Qin & Han street
It is a shooting site of blockbuster films, representing the magnificent imperial palace of the Qin Empire. The Palace of Emperor Qin was built in 1997 for filming The Emperor and the Assassin by director Chen Kaige with the Xianyang Palace, the main palace of the imperial palace of the Qin Dynasty, as its prototype. It is also the shooting site of a number of films and TV series, including Hero, Emperor Han Wu, A Step into the Past, Painted Skin, The Promise, and Joy of Life.
Han Street vividly shows the style and characteristics of the official government Yamen, city gate, street stores, mansions, and courtyards of the Qin and Han Dynasties, where the ancient road covered in dust and authentic Yanzhao architectures are faithfully represented.
