Hengdian is the largest film and television shooting and production cluster in China, with over 130 different-sized stages ranging from 1,000 square meters for advertising to the world's largest soundstage at 12,000 square meters. It includes LED digital virtual soundstages, variety show stages, underwater facilities. The scenes in stages are diverse, featuring mansions, palaces, villas, caves, waterfalls, forests, and more... Hengdian Industrial Park has achieved multiple innovations and breakthroughs in the design and construction with pioneering concept of "inside sets, outside scenes".By modifying the exterior, the originally modern industrial-style stage area now also functions as a live-action base.The stages are built to international standards with a double-deck runway design and installation of dual-purpose elevators for easy transport of various lighting equipment for the film crew. Acoustically, double-layer soundproofing meets the needs of simultaneous sound recording for film and television productions. The power design fully satisfies the electrical needs of the film crew, no need for extra generators.Additionally, there are ample supporting facilities catering various on-site needs such as production office, costume and makeup, rest areas, and meetings. The entire stage area also boasts full 5G signal coverage, facilitating advanced technological filming and digital production for film and television crews.

Hengdian initiated and established the Jinhua Film and Television Base Alliance along with surrounding outdoor locations to serve production crews. Within a 1.5-hour drive from Hengdian, there are numerous outdoor locations like mountains, canyons, mansions, commercial areas, malls, and parks to meet the diverse filming needs of production crews as much as possible.
