The Dream Bund & Hong Kong Street

The Dream Bund takes old Shanghai from the 1930s to the 1940s as prototype to restore the old style of the metropolis infested with foreign merchants in old Shanghai. This area is nearly 1:1 restored, recreates the original appearance of historical Bund buildings such as the Peace Hotel, HSBC Building, Customs House, and the Sassoon House.
Guangzhou & Hong Kong street area is an immersive destination for film and TV-themed vacation. It was built for shooting the film The Opium War directed by Xie Jin in 1996, marking the start of Hengdian World Studios. The quaint Guangzhou Street primarily features traditional Lingnan architecture, showcasing historical scenes of official government offices and commercial streets and alleys from the mid to late Qing Dynasty in the Guangdong region. Hong Kong Street predominantly features European-style architecture, with the Guangzhou Street Phase II becoming a popular filming location for modern dramas.
